Rural Malaysia Hospital

In 2018 one of our members daughter received life saving treatment following a cycling accident from the Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim, Sungai Petani in rural Malaysia. Although the quality of care was excellent the facilities were run-down and in need of renewal. The warmth of the reaction from the local people was unforgettable. Yet, although the Malaysian Government has an outstanding record of reducing poverty it still exists. This project jointly funded by the Lindum Rotary Club will work with the local rotary club in Petani to upgrade the Orthopaedic and Occupational Therapy services.
